1. General

ALTA ("ALTA", "we", "the site operator") operates the website altamembers.com ("the Site") and presents to a limited number of suitable investors opportunities to invest in real estate projects in Portugal, including off-market projects. This policy explains how personal information is collected, stored and processed in connection with the use of the Site and the fit-check process, and it forms an integral part of the Terms of Use. Using the Site and submitting details constitute consent to this policy.

2. What Information Is Collected

Information you provide: When completing the fit-check form ("the Form"), we collect your full name, email address and phone number, along with the answers you select, your investment goal, available equity range, and preferred timeline. You may also opt in to an optional checkbox requesting access to the ALTA WhatsApp group.

Information collected automatically: When the Form is submitted, we also collect the page URL from which it was sent, browser type and identifier (User Agent), and interface language. While browsing the Site, technical information such as IP address, device and browser type, and general usage data may be collected through cookies and measurement tools (see Section 8).

3. Purposes of Use

The information is used to assess the fit of an enquirer to opportunities, to make contact and respond, to send investment details and updates about opportunities and projects, to schedule a call, to manage enquiries ("leads"), to improve the Site and service, for statistical purposes, to prevent misuse and fraud, and to comply with legal requirements.

4. Consent and Provision of Information

There is no legal obligation to provide information, but without certain details we will not be able to assess fit or get back to you. The Form includes a single required consent, confirming the use of your details to assess fit, as well as contact and receipt of investment details and updates through various communication channels (email, WhatsApp or phone). The checkbox requesting access to the WhatsApp group is optional only and is not a condition for submitting the Form.

5. Marketing Communications and Removal

In accordance with the consent given, ALTA may make contact using the details provided, including email, phone, SMS and WhatsApp, to deliver investment details, updates and invitations to review opportunities. You may request removal from mailing lists at any time by contacting the address in Section 15 or via the unsubscribe mechanism in the messages.

6. The ALTA WhatsApp Group

Joining the WhatsApp group, if it takes place, is done at your request and via an invitation or join link. When joining the group, details such as name, phone number and profile image may be visible to other participants, according to your WhatsApp settings. You may leave the group at any time.

7. Where Information Is Stored and Service Providers

Form details are stored and processed on the Site's hosting and forms platform (Netlify) and are delivered via email notifications and instant notifications (including through a messaging service such as Telegram) to the ALTA team, in order to handle the enquiry. These service providers operate in accordance with their own terms and privacy policies. We engage providers that offer a reasonable level of information protection.

8. Cookies, Measurement and Analytics

The Site may use cookies and measurement technologies for proper operation, security, usage measurement and improving the experience. Analytics and advertising tools (such as Google Analytics/Google Tag Manager or advertising-network pixels) are activated subject to your consent and in accordance with the Cookie Policy. Cookies can be managed through your browser settings.

9. Sharing Information with Third Parties

We do not sell personal information. Information may be shared: (a) with service providers assisting in operating the Site, storage, mailing, measurement and support; (b) with relevant professionals later in the process and as needed, such as lawyers, tax advisors, banks, developers or local partners in Portugal, for the purpose of reviewing an opportunity and progressing a transaction; (c) with competent authorities as required by law; (d) in the context of a business restructuring, merger or transfer of activity.

10. Transfer of Information Outside Israel

Some service providers and parties involved operate outside Israel, including in the European Union and the United States. Providing the information and submitting the Form constitute consent to the transfer and processing of information outside Israel, subject to applicable law.

11. Data Retention

Information will be retained for as long as it is needed for the purposes for which it was collected, assessing fit, contact, documentation, managing business activity, complying with legal requirements and protecting legitimate interests, and will thereafter be deleted or stored subject to law.

12. Information Security

We take reasonable and accepted measures to protect information. However, absolute security of information stored or transmitted by digital means cannot be guaranteed, and online systems may be exposed to faults, cyberattacks or unauthorized access. Use of the Site and provision of information are at the user's responsibility, and subject to the limitation of liability in the Terms of Use.

13. User Rights

Subject to law, you may contact us to request access to your personal information, to correct inaccurate information, to request its deletion or to remove yourself from mailing lists. We will handle the request within a reasonable time, subject to legitimate business needs, legal requirements and technical limitations.

14. Minors

The Site and service are not intended for minors. We do not knowingly collect information about minors under the age of 18.
